I guess I never really knew what Cool Whip was made of (and reading the ingredients doesn't help). My wife made whipped cream to top off the pots de crème she served up for her mother on Mother's Day yesterday, and I was able to enjoy the leftover whip with strawberries on waffles she made us for dinner tonight! It's just whipped whipping cream with some vanilla and sugar added. No corn syrup, high-fructose or otherwise, on my plate- just good ol' maple.
She also saved an extra pots de crème for me to enjoy a second time. So good.
