crispy broccoli

We like to roast our vegetables around here. As a side to a delicious spaghetti dinner, my wife served up roasted broccoli. However, she 'over-roasted' them a bit, and they were very... interesting. Hard to explain the texture/taste, but it was sort of like eating ashes but with decent flavor actually!
