more tomatoes


My wife ended up with a giant bag of tomatoes for $2 at her last farmer's market visit. The catch is that they are all very very ripe and need to be used up immediately. Fine by me! This simple dinner included jus toasted baguette slices, mozzarella slices, cut up tomatoes with olive oil, Nutella and French salt for a bruschetta smorgasbord! After eating a good number of the tomato/mozzarella combination, we followed it up with the Nutella/salt combo. Mix in some fresh fruit and a little wine, and you couldn't ask for a more delightful meal.
